Turns out my step dad looked over my car (he works for AAA as a claims person) and said my passanger seat had a broken spring for the airbag... that could possibly become a deadly projectile if the airbag deployed... annoying clunky sound when starting my engine on cold due to the oil settling (normal on the car... but really annoying)... lets see... retarded syncros on my tranny thus giving me a 3rd gear "crunch"... ripped shift boot that NISSAN never replaced no matter how much i bugged them about it (under warrenty)... i'm sure there is more - just can't think right now
other than that...it was fun.

Carputer still in research phase.
Waiting for a 7'' Lilliput.
im only about an hour from yall.. we should all meet up sometime. My setup is still in the works also though.
I'm in Snellville, (Metro ATL) and would be interested in meeting others. I'm still piecing parts together, and could use some advice on my setup once I'm ready to deploy.
Partlist so far:
Morex 3677
EPIA M10000

CDRW/DVD Combo slim
Lilliput
I have a AC/DC inverter, and thought about going that route to be cheap, but after the reading I dunno...
Let's drum up something in the next couple months!

Gainseville.
2000 S10 Xtreme.
I'll be doing a 7" Lilliput also. I have plenty of computers/parts to use, but I'm toying with building a P4 based system, since they're fast, and run pretty cool.
The carputer will be the easy part, the custom stereo install with 5 1/4" indash and center channel, and custom center console (subwoofer) will be much more time consuming.
I'm in the ATL as well (Dunwoody) and I think it would be great if there was a gathering. I have all my pieces and parts, but it's not in yet. Discoverd that my opus won't fit in my case, so have to wait for the new one to arrive.
Skippy
Do you really go by "skippy"?
Do you look like Skippy Handleman from Family Ties?
I'm just kidding around.
Kennesaw, Georgia (about 25-minutes north of downtown Atlanta)
By the way, I just found these forums earlier today. So let me go ahead and say "HOWDY!"
Just in the process of moving to Alpharetta.
Meeting up would be cool. I have a few more steps to finish my truck but it is mostly done.
