either month is ok with me ... however i'd be more down with a norther sub-urb (marietta, ksaw, alpharetta)

Just starting on mine. Don't know s#!t about car audio. Do I have to shield my computer from the sub? Also, about a shutdown contorler, don't know what to buy or where or how to hook it up, I can't find anything that can translate for a novice. Any ideas?
I'm in Hampton (about 30 miles south of Atlanta and 1/4 mile from AMS). So far my setup is out of the truck(revamp) but I can drop it back in there in about 30 minutes. I'd love to meet up.

Wrong forum my friend. You may want to go to the main page and post your questions in the correct forums. If I were you my first stop would be the newbie forum. As far as the sub question goes I wouldn't put a computer next to a sub just because of the amount and size of vibrations that will be coming from it. Other than that I don't see why you couldn't have it near the sub. Don't know about shut down controllers so can't help there.Originally Posted by suge

If anybody wants to meet in Cobb Co there's a Hamfest (geek out for Ham Radio Operators but theres computer, electrical and 12V hookup stuff too, flea market style.

Hey thanks for the reminder! I am build guitar amps on the side and have been waiting for this thing to come to town. I'll be there. Probally in the morning depending if I have to work that night. To bad my mp3 player isnt installed. Hmm. Maybe I can squeeze in the truck today or tomorrow.
