I think we should do a couple more bay area meets before we do a regional meet. A regional meet would be a lot of planning.

I think we need to establish a core group of people that are commited to the scene up here in the bay area before we take on a big task. Grow the bay area meet till we have a steady group of people who we know will come and then plan a regional meet of some sort. It would also be much easier to plan a regional meet at an area meet rather then through the forums.

By the way, what's the name of the place where the Nissan meet this weekend is being held at?

Yea... It is a little early for a regional meet.

I like the sound of a BBQ. The only problem is getting someone with a big enough place to have the it at.

We might be able to have it at my Sisters house. Her Fiancee is totally into setting up a carputer (after he saw mine) and he is always down for a BBQ. I will ask them if you guys are willing to drive down to Santa Cruz

There is a park not more then 20 minutes away from the last place that I think has a big parking lot and the grills for a BBQ. I'll go take a look at it sometime soon and see if it will work. It's a big park just south of downtown San Jose

Like I said, I'm pretty sure there are BBQ grills and plenty of parking. I'll go scope it out soon and maybe take some pictures.

I just talked to the people at the College of San Mateo (I work for the school district). They said that they wouldn't even consider letting us in without a 1 million dollar insurance policy (yeah, million). Sounds dumb to me, but I tried.

Edit: Unless we all just show up and wait for security to throw us out.

i don't know if it was coyote creek park, but there's a park not too far away from king road that i saw... it has some bbq tables there too. although there is a fee that we need to pay to get into the parking lot during the weekends.
    52-hit-combo?! Is that really necessary?

    Thumbs up

That's a great idea. I think that's the best one yet.

    http://www.abag.ca.gov/bayarea/baytr...t/CoyotePt.htm

Coyote Point has a parking lot, beach, and barbeques. We could have a lot of fun. We'd have to reserve a place (which means we need a firm time and date) and it's 5 dollars per car.... not too sure how we'd work out the food part, though.

    P.S. 100th post, w00t!
