Thread: Long Island/ NY Meet?

I'd love to go, as long as if it's after about 6PM. It would be better in the dark anyway, being able to see screens properly and all.

Date: December 11th, 2004
Time: 12:00PM, Noon or for those that like it the hard way, 1200 hours.
Location: Nassau Coliseum

It seems to me that some people are not reading the postings. The date has been set for the 11th and the time Noon. Let's just meet up at the Coliseum and if there are any problems, we can go somewhere else after everybody has arrived.

Again, I hope for a sunny day because we'll be able to see which screens look the best under those conditions and if we have to, we can just cover the windows.

Now, I have never been to the Coliseum, how are we supposed to know where everybody else will be at the location? Is there only one entrance to the parking lot?

i havent been there either but this looks like a map of the parking lots.
maybe parking lot #5 will be good? can anyone confirm that this is the set up?

Even though i never hear about this place but what the hell, I'll down to the colliusm park for meeting at exact time. Just hoping that weather is going to be good that day. Hey folks, no more suggestion for other place, we are set for that park. We are done with this business, the only thing not done is who is going. Please, response if you are attending!!!

i'm attending.... but if is going to be at 12 noon I would prefer to be in a mall parking lot .... i want to be avle to see a screans not glare!

Has anyone been to the coliseum when there is no event being held? Is there access to the parking lot?
I've driven by the coliseum many times and I know that there are booths at the entrance. So either you may have to pay to get in or the entrance may be locked.

ill ask a few people tommorrow about the colisium and parking, worst case ill just give them a call and find out.

Ok,
There appears to be no events at the coliseium that sat. so we should be ok with the parking. My friend told me that they leave the gates open so you can get to the box office when there is no events going on.

I dotn know which lot is closer to the box office, but i think that would prob be the best place to meet.

I'll participate it's right 15 minutes from my job =)
