At this point I would like to appologise for all of the time you're about to expend and all the money it's going to cost you.

Seriously though, it is worth it in the end even if it is just a hobby.

Panda sure has plenty to answer for - especially those of us with Ford's in the driveway. It's all great stuff though.

    Cheers,

...yes Pandaman, you DO have a lot to answer for. Just spent the entire weekend (well almost) reading and researching. The missus is not too happy with the time I've spent on this. I told her this was only the tip of the iceberg.

    Cheers All.....

I just have a Holden Rodeo. Im in Perth and I installed my laptop into my car mainly for GPS applications via a touchscreen. I go 4wdriving a lot and GPS is a really handy way of making it around. I also like the fact I can have the net where ever I can get a wireless connection and unlimited music and vids also. I don't know a hell of a lot about all the carpc stuff but seeing some of the stuff on here there is loads of info. Maybe when I get more time to myself I may get into learning and creating applications myself that others might find handy themselves but at the moment that won't be for a long time.

    Hey dudes,

Currently building Mac Mini to go in the new car. Been having fun trying to get radio to work as I bought Radioshark 2 not 1.

Other than that is has been fun particually considering I am running BootCamp.

I am very impressed so far with the Mac Mini, the sound in produces is supurb. Pity this is no a nice Front End and GPS solution for OSX.

Will eventually be installing in 2007 Nissan Navara DC.

    Cheers Firebird.
