im running a duron 1300 ($55) and i bought a ASUS all in one MB A7N-266 i think ($110) it has the nForce chip set, and yes it does have tv out..

but i have swapped parts around a bit.. as i didnt always have the asus MB, it was a gigabyte. But with the gigabyte i had to use an geforce card to get tv out...

    but anyways its all good..

AND deffinetly we must have a MELB cruise ill be there for sure.

thanks Freeman, might have to look into that asus board. For the TV out function does it need an add in card to buy seperatly? If so how much is that worth?

    thanks

    Talking

    Aussie aussie aussie!

I am an MP3 car fanatic in Sydney (though i'd rather be in Brisbane - another story).

I wanted to do my setup right form the start, so i have an M10000 nehemiah and Opus 90W with laptop DVD and laptop HDD....Currently it's all in my study until Media engine 2 is released, then will be installed in my Pulsar GTI-R -> http://gtir.no-ip.org.

    I have running:
    - ME 1.7.7
    - DVD, mp3s and divx on a Sony PSone 5" screen.
    - USB GPS reciever with GPS Trackmaker to record my lap times around Wakefield park.

I want to setup full logging logging of the car's parameters referenced to the GPS position ala racing telementry, so i can review my track times/speeds/temps/RPM etc, which would be the ultimate use for the carPC for me.

Drop me a line if ya wanna hook up and talk mp3car in sydney.

    where?

    Hi!

Currently in the process of purchasing parts for my incar system. so far I've only been able to find one place that stocks VIA MINI-ITX boards (Scorptec) and they were out of stock. I'm in melbourne. Anyone know any other places (pref. melbourne, but anywhere in aust will do) that stock the mini-itx boards.

I went to a swap meet yesterday and all the guys I asked thought I was insane:
    Me: "I'm after a VIA mini-itx motherboard"
Swap meet guys: "we have gigabyte with via chipset"

    EVERY single one of them!!!

Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Graham

I'm located in the Cranbourne area, not too far from Dandenong. Any idea how much these are worth?
