    If you don't get high fives, then atleast you can laugh at the status of my install

    Great! I did a demo of NaviVoice at school. I got laughed out! I decided to transfer my profile from my powerful desktop (2.5ghz p4, etc) to my laptio (933mhz duron, 128meg ram). The transfer prgoram hung, but I though it worked. So I took it to school and started tryingto talk to it. It took me 20 tires to get boris to listen So yeh, I need to train my laptop now

    WOW! Free food is going to be offered???

    If that is the case, this meet will be a hard one to pass up

    @welthqa - Based on my experience with our meet, you won't hear any criticism -- unless you invite it. Most of the folks attending our last meet were there to check out the CarPC setup of others, share ideas, and gab about the work and effort invested in their rides.

    ========================================
    - CarPC install complete.
    - CarPC software: CENTRAFUSE
    - Planning/working on in-dash for lilliput monitor

    Still working on it.

    I have finalized my plans, but still dont have everything set to begin construction.

    I purchased a new radio bezel (didn't want to mess up my original) which I intend to modify the top double-din area to hold my single-din HU and a single-din motorized pullout (the one offered by Armen) for my lillput. With this configuration I will be able to have the the indash monitor mount and also maintain my head unit -- both in dash.

    The biggest hold up right now is getting a response from ARMEN!! I've sent 3 emails to him (one a week, guess it is time for another one) but haven't gotten a response from him yet. Will keep trying until I do -- I am really counting on his design to make my plans work.

    Looks like I won't be able to complete this install before the next meet, especially since I am counting on the mounting the HU and Lilliput in the double-din location. Most likely, given that I have pulled my CarPC, I will wait and attend our next meet, in March/April/May whenever we get it organized.

    I am very interested to see your new setup!!!
    Where can I see pics of your new indash??

    Yeh, I have to train it. I will. I need to show that a duron is better at speech recognition than a VIA
