Sorry you won't make it - I was looking forward to comparing notes on your BMW laptop project, as I'm about to do exactly that.Grr...I just found out I can't make it. I have to watch ALL the kids (mine and my sister-in-laws). *sigh* I'll just have to hold out for the next meet.
Oh the plus side, I just got my new laptop (which I'm typing this on)!!! I'll have to get the rest of the interfaces that will turn it into a carputer a little bit later down the road (I spent a little more on the laptop than I was planning).

From my experience, these meets can run anywhere from an hour to several hours. We've presented at PhreakNIC and other large conventions, and at the time we were two of two cars. That meet lasted about 5 hours. I've seen some of the new cars that will be at tomorrow's meet, and I'm convinced that it will be a great meetup. I expect that we'll likely be there for at least a couple of hours, so definately stop by - especially if you have a computer in your car.You follks going to hang out for most of the afternoon?
