A new carputer group has been created at meetup.com for helping carputer users get together locally.
Any locales can be input and members can meet up with people in their area.
Here's the link:

When you log on you can put in your own area and meet other people with carputer installs. We had a meetup set up for DashPC (we had hundreds of users), but it got hijacked, so we're re-creating the group.
Joining is simple (no spam or crap like that), and within a few weeks you'll proabably be able to hook up with other people in your town that have carputer installs.
Cheers!

So Chris, is there really a meet in Canton on April 2nd like it says on carputer.meetup.com? See you on the 19th.
My first attempt at a carputer.
PM me if you're interested in a monitor faceplate for your '99-'04 Golf or Jetta. My Vortex ID is NorthAtlR32 - you can IM me there, too. Go here for more information.
this definitely makes much more sense to do then our usual methods on here. hopefully this can get some admin approval:-)
however, I can see it getting quite messy if people don't SEARCH for a local meetup already arranged (like what happens on here)
