I'm hoping to fix my system up a bit more; Don't like the way it looks ATM.
I made a wooden box for the comp and another for the inverter and crank-survival batteries, so I need to dress those up in some speaker box fabric to match the interior of my trunk. Also hope to go to a junkyard and see if I can find a suitable trunk liner that I can use to hide the wires and cables around my amps and lower half of the center console. As it is now, if you look closely, you can see wires near the accelerator and on the opposite side of the center console.
One problem I'm having is with the dang GPS mouse. When I initially installed, I had it on the rear deck and just yesterday I move it up to the corner of the passenger's side A-pillar. Hopefully that will solve my problem of the stupid thingy working fine one minute and then not working at all the next. No amount of hot- or cold-rebooting would fix the problem except for me to give it a good rubbing. Maybe that's how it gets turned on?
