Minnesota monthly gathering

My GPS is sorta like that, and the wire is drilled through the roof. I don't really want to do the same with my 2 other (WiFi and 2M radio) antennas because even if I did they aren't NMO mount so the cable doesnt go straight out the bottom. Need a solution there.

that's why everytime I think of dumping my SUV for a little car I end up not.. storms or snow changes my mind..

I use the wierdest stuff for my GPS covers.. some of you cna attest to that

Yeah, I recall the plastic cap of some sort. Works well though. ddn, what's your callsign?

Word. Id give out mine but then the phonelosers.org people might have my "docs" and never stop harassing me (they do that kinds of stuff).

I never use ham anymore except as a police scanner. Too many old people with no interesting lives.

Ham is pretty bloody boring. Although, I'd like to get a nice radio for emergency stuff when I'm in the mountains especially. I just use it for APRS.

Next meet I'll bring a tube of pure Silicon. Awesome stuff. Using it to seal windows. Kinda pricey, but has a 50yr life - so it should work wonders on our cars!

Dang... I just realized how rediculous that sounds!
Is it bad enough that we're getting together to talk about computers, now we have to bring silicon into it!

I kinda think the next 2600 meeting would be a good place for us to all get together. It happens Nov 4th at 5 pm.

2600 is a group of computer hackers that meet at the MOA monthly the first friday of the month. It would make a convienent place for us to meet as well, because our groups have somewhat similar interests (what with making computers do stuff they arent designed to do and such)
