how much was that? the hummer double din mount kit? and i think digitalww.com is based in the north side of chicago somewhere. also frys electronics has the m10000 motherboard for 169. i seen it 2 weeks ago. they are in downers grove.
Does any know if there are any Car Compter stores in the Chicago area that carries ITX motherboards and Travla cases? I'll be in Iowa City tomorrow and thought about making the drive to pick up some 'puter' stuff for the car. I just got my Xenarc 7" TSV display mounted in the GM (humount) last night and it's ready for install.

It's for at GM car (like Buick) with double din, not hummer. Although I have no idea what a hummer takes for a radio size. You can view them at: Here. I paid $105 with the engraved letters and shipping. His work is very high quality!
Here's a picture of mine that I put together last night.
Here's what the back panel looks like...

Actually, I purchased it from Powder and put it together myself. The Xenarc 7" monitor was the newer model with the 5 wire touch screen. They moved the ribbon cable on the newer model from the top to the side. I had to do a slight modification to make it fit properly.Originally Posted by EsKALad
If you look closely at my first picture you will see the letters, M, S, <, and > on the button faces. That's the engraving he does for the extra $5.
Did you try that link I placed in the other post? He does list the 2003 Hummer as working with his mount. It looks like your radio (although not the same one as mine) is a double DIN and uses the same mounting holes. I would think that it would work.
Thanks for the info on Fry's and digitalww.com (can't believe they close at 6pm and not open on the weekends).
TigerDirect is where I go for alot of my stuff. They have an outlet store in Naperville.

Well, when are you going to post the pictures here? I'm looking to add the meet pictures to Mobile-Effects.com if possible. We're out of Illinois and I really wanted to try to make to the meet, just that I'm building a new house in Joliet and had to do some work on it that weekend.Originally Posted by GizmoQ
