Yeah, it's definitely something i was missing before...I have it working right now, but it's mounted in the keyhole. It still gives me a great viewing angle like you said. It makes reverse parking at night so much easier and now i can see the curb better when im backing up. I got the monitor with autoswitching working also. Does your monitor say "AV2 Valid" on the screen when you pop it in reverse?....that thing is pretty annoying.

And if I do get rear ended, I would probably say bye bye to my bumper and maybe the rest of my trunk if its hard enough

. Hopefully if I do get hit the camera is mounted Just above the bumper frame so I think the camera might be ok if its not hit too hard, since the bumber frame will take all the impact.
