Ok, it's actually a different model
I just picked up that keboard and mouse combo at Circuit city for $99. ****!!!
Gonna try to get a price match, I know one of the Mgr's so maybe I'll get lucky
The one you got looks like the new model.
I went yesterday and circuit City had it listed for $139.99, i went today during lunch and it was $99 so I jumped on it and picked up a Logitec Wireless game controller so my daughter can play some games in the car
I have the Logitech MX5000 keyboard/mouse combo on my desktop. It's a neat set, but the keyboard's kinda thick. I'd rather have something slim that I can either tuck between the seat and the center armrest, or something that can fit in the glove compartment. The MX5000 is cool, but serious overkill in the car.
The $35 gyration pair look perfect! Anyone have it that can report on the thickness / width of the keyboard? That's my main concern. And if it's based on gyroscopic motion sensors, would it think you're moving the mouse every time you drive around a corner?
The one I picked up from Gyration has a trigger button on the bottom that you have to hold down in order to control the mouse. When I'm not using it I have it stored in my armrest, does not show up on the screen. As for the keyboard it's not think at all and fits perfectly in the storage compartment on my door.
it is a great mouse. I use it here at home. its also great for my Home Theater PC when sitting on the couch.
