Thread: NY Spring Thaw Meet 2006

The 9th looks good to me,
The 30th is def out for me

BBQ would rock, im in for that

I have not voted becuase i have an equal probibility of making it on either the 9th or the EDIT: 30th.

Ah great to hear that a meet is on the way.

Well since the last time we got together, my car has been through a lot a week after the last meet. Me stupid enough to think that the factory alarm was good, I didn’t consider to replace the alarm. Well I was wrong, it started by having one of my rear windows shatter but it still held together so I though it was a kid that got pushed on to my car… A week later , I got ready to go to work and once I open the back door of my car I notice that everything was gone (very sloppy Fuc**** may I add) they did not only still my computer but airbags, switches, central panel, the cheap radio that cost 70 bucks, however they didn’t still my screen which I think was the second most expansive thing in my car after the airbags (fuc****) any how, once I sow my screen on the drivers side I was very very very happy. They must of thought that they made a jackpot (fuc****) until they notice that the laptop that I had under the passenger seat was modify, had no lcd screen and had couple of wires coming out of the back so it wasn’t worth much and also The cheap radio was worth 70 bucks that I bought because it had aux inputs. Anyways the only good thing that came out of this is to have a chance to REBUILD a new system and refinish the screen, Which I’ am in the process and hope to be ready for the meet. Oh yeah I install a new 2 way alarm (compustar) which I like very mush it cost me $ 400 dollars. $100+ dollars less from all the stores I went to. It has ¾ of a mile range and life time warranty.

Sounds like you're lucky that "they" didn't steal your car. It was probably the same guy who broke your window the week before. They found something good the first time, and returned for the rest.

With my previous car, someone broke in, stole my HU and a North Face bag I had with $200 worth of tools. A few weeks after that, they took enough time to rip out my amps from a custom wooden panel I had setup, with the amps hidden between the panel and the rear seat.

Hi guys/gals

I am totally new at this, although have been reading alot of posts here and there. Have a Honda Pilot and would love to add a carpc, this will be great for me to meet some people in NY who have done this. Hopefully by meeting u all, I can find some place that can install this for me cus I am not that handy when it comes to things like this.

It was Chinese New Year when you guys met last time, will definitely try to get to this one. see u guys there...
