NoVA / DC / MD meet!

Hey guys I created a Yahoo Group for the NoVA / MD / DC area.

This way we can have a real calendar, post pics, plan meetings, create mailing lists for updates, get a little more publicity, try to pull the group together a bit better, etc. Join if you'd like and if you plan on attending the meets. The link to the group is also in my sig. Membership is open.

@ shrinkydinx, if you could please add this to the first post as well, I would appreciate it.

/on a side note, if you all think this is stupid and won't work, just let me know and I'll delete the group. lol

Sweet, well we have about 5 folk in the group so far so I guess it wasn't toooo bad of an idea. lol. I have the meet calendar up, a contact database to help reference mp3car/yahoo handles, names, locations, etc, all viewable only by members of the group.
Also, the pics taken of the last meet, they would be a great addition to the photo gallery there (fventura03)...

Another thing, the calandar is setup to send out event reminders if you so choose. This way you'll have NO excuse to miss a meet. lol (well, at least as far as not remembering...

)

Concerning the monthly meets...
There are 3 polls up right now, 1 for the day of week, 1 for the time of day, and 1 for the week of the month. Make your opinion known.

Damn! Just a few days late.... I just ripped my install out of my car in preperation for getting a new car. Guess I can show it off once/if it gets in the new car.

For those that have signed up on our Yahoo Groups site,

The polls for the next meet so far have the following results:

Day of Week: Saturday at 55%

Time of Day: 2pm at 42%

Week of Month: 3rd at 83%

If you haven't voted yet, please do so. As it stands now, the next monthly meet, which will be for October, will be on:

Saturday the 21st of October at 2pm

If you haven't signed up there, please do so. We have a calendar for the meets, polls to determine the time/date/week for the car meets, and more... Check my sig for the link to the group.

Is the october meet location the same as the september meet location or is it gonna be somewhere else ? (did I miss the post about this?!?)
