As far as the meet location, no, we haven't said anything yet about it. I'm not sure where we're going to do it just yet. The last place was great, but after an hour or so, the mall security was checking us out... On my next free days (Mon-Wed) I'm gonna try to head over towards the west side of the beltway and checkout the parks over there and see if I can find a suitable location.

I defintely am going to try to make this one so I can see some nice setups. I'm about to start building my system so i can use some inspiration.

Hey guys, in looking for the next meet location, we're trying to do one of the regional/national parks. The problem is, 'sometimes', they charge a fee to enter the park. I know the Great Falls National Park says they charge $5 per vehicle to enter, but of the 4-5 times I've been recently, I've haven't been charged once. So, I've created a poll at our Yahoo Groups Page, asking that if we do the meet at a park like such, will you pay to enter "if need be" ?? Let your vote be known. We're also considering the parking garages at the Tyson's Corner Shopping Center, but as those of you who were at the September meet might remember, there is a chance we'll have issues with the RentaCops. Also, being such a shopping area, and on the weekend, we might have more issues with traffic there, whereas Great Falls would be perfect (we could even try to snatch the grills and have a cookout). Post your suggestions, Cast your vote and lets get ready for the next meet. So far the polls are still standing at Saturday, 21 October at 2pm. Hope to see you all there

@ Everyone. Ok, the polls have spoken, the next meet will be on Saturday, the 21st of October at 2pm.

What do you all think about the Tysons Corner Shopping Center? We can try the top deck at one of the parking garages there. If not it looks like we'll be doing Great Falls National Park (slight possiblility of an entrance fee, never happened before, but it could). Please let me know before week's end so we can get up maps, directions, time, etc. Thanks

However my opinion means little for the next meet since I won't be likely to attend. That weekend we'll be packing half my parents stuff up in order to move it to their new house in Arizona. We're leaving the 23rd and driving cross country. Cross country road trip sounds cool, but not so much when you have a time table to follow. Plus I'll be driving my dad's vette, which again sounds cool, but cross country is a long trip in any vehicle, much less a stiff car like that. That thing is also his baby, so I'll be paranoid about anything happing to it the whole way. I'll try to cut out for a few hours to attend, but it all depends on how far along we are. Hopefully someone will be sure to snap lots of pics for those that don't make it.

Sounds like a great weekend, moving, then driving in the vette.. and after moving, damn, you're gonna be stiff/sore for sure. Well if you can make it out for a few that'd be cool we usually only hang for 1.5-2 hours anyways. All depends on how many folk show up. If we do Great Falls, I might try to get out there early to grab a grill and some tables and see if we can't get a little cook out going on.
