Yes. There are alot of peopl with the name Chris. I'm not worried about someone trying to kill me, it's the fact that a nickname on a forum has a purpose and is useful as a reference, in this case, better than a person's real name. If I wanted people to use my name I would sign up as it, but the fact is that I didn't. I'm not upset, meerly stating my opinions like anyone else.

Here's the scoop on what company has the best broadband internet. First understand that Cingular, Sprint and Verizon all have broadband for very select areas, i.e. major metropolitan areas and some major highways and thats it. All of their broadband is about 400k to 700k.

All three companies also have a lesser wireless internet technology that accompanies their wireless broadband packages that is not as fast as broadband but has a much larger coverage area. The speeds vary from 60k to 144k, just slower than grandpa eating. Cingular's and Sprints lesser wireless is just about the same. Verizon's sucks ***.

Cingular is more or less the same price as sprint: $59.99. Cingular has more options for plans, but the unlimited use is 59. Cingular also has many wifi spots. Cingular has better coverage in the rural areas, pretty much everywhere. This is at the slower speed. Sprint has more broadband coverage than Cingular which is in the cities and on the highways.

In conclusion:

Verizon's broadband is behind Cingular and Verizon in coverage. Their slower, more extensive coverage accompaning internet sucks. Their price is more than both: $79.99. You have to pay roaming fees on 15% of their area. No roaming fees on the other two. Verizon just all out sucks big fat dick.

Cingular and Sprint are close. It just depends if you are out in BFE more or in major cities and on major roads. They have the same price, same lesser internet and cover almost the same areas in the same cities.

I'm seriously thinking about changing over to sprint b/c they are going to have broadband where I am. I.e. if I can figure it out b/f my grace period runs out. I Haven't had much experience w/ sprint or cingular but if I get any slack, they're going to have to realize real quick what's good for busininess!!!

I can't believe that I'm going through all this bull**** when... the entire industry might change overnight, but I did a comprehensive, extensive arrangment of what the companies were doing about a year ago and nothing has changed much since then, whew.
