Austin, TX meet Sat. Nov. 11

A meet is scheduled in Austin on Saturday, November 11.

The time and place have not been set. Any suggestions? If the day is not good for you, Post it. This way, if it is better to meet on another date, we will be able to figure it out and reschedule. If you don't post, we're all in the dark!

Some good places to meet could be a parking lot around 6th St, by a restaraunt so we can grab something to eat, by where your favorite band is playing, an out-of-this-world spot found only with GPS, Dark alley in the middle of night in the ghetto?

Please, If you are planning on attending this meet, post a little message so people will show up. See you then!

We're having a meet on october 21s here in the D/FW area. Only 3 or so hours from Austin. might consider making the drive?

I commute all over the TX Triangle, and live in the middle...closer to DFW. I just might make both. Going to be in Austin anyway. Thanks Red

I live in Austin but I will be out of town that weekend. Sorry I will miss it.

You don't have to miss it. You are top of the list. You have dibbs. It's tricky getting one of these things together, but once in a blue moon, they happen. We will all be in the dark if you don't communicate. Please suggest some different dates.

As it works out, I'm still going to be in Austin that weekend never the less nobody has posted that they are going to show up. If anyone is still interested in meeting, please post it. Otherwise, I will probably not show. The meeting place is the Taco Cabana just south west of UT in the parking lot. We will check out the rides and then grab some grub and some beerdongas.

Just a bit of input from a cabdriver.

That TacoC has a parking lot which TINY doesn't even START to describe.

Might I suggest...the Hooters across the river at South 1st & Riverside (or the Threadgills right there, or one of the other 5 restaurants within 2 blocks of there)

And as long as it's around 2 to 4pm'ish, I should be able to put in an appearance.

Oh, and sorry for the late response, I didn't even SEE this until today.
