This is through software fixes.

Did you purchase your G4 here from the store? Are you running the Roadie sound card? Are you running StreetDeck? Did you reinstall windows or did you keep the same install? Have you installed the newer image for the G4?

Not with StreetDeck. StreetDeck only works with Map Point. You would have to exit StreetDeck (or toggle to windowed mode) to use it.

yes that is correct.
But it is a solution that I’m happy with.

it is a bandaid solution until SD support it natively.

StreetDeck will not be supporting Desinator natively.

Currently the developers are working on an entirely new navigation engine.

We are still considering different options. More international support is something we would like to have, but is just one of many factors we are considering. We are still working on StreetDeck 1 and 2.0 is still quite far off in the future.

I'm not sure I follow.

The G4 is a computer. THe advantage is just that...it's a computer...and with a computer you can do many things.

THe G4 runs StreetDeck so if you're interested in finding out more, I'd start by researching StreetDeck and its features.
