Oh ok, sorry. I know you're a pro audio competitor, but I could have sworn that I also read you and your hubby run a pro audio shop. Don't mind me, I've read SO much on these forums over the last four months that there's no telling what I've mixed up.

The feature has been pulled. We haven't been able to negotiate a license yet, mostly because of the open nature of running XP in the car and Gracenote data has to be protected. We are still working on it, but we have been working on the license since January and still haven't been able to get an agreement in place . At this point I have no idea if or when it will ship, it could ship on the first g4s that go out, it could never ship.

No - it is not transflective.

As for the specific brand. I'm not sure. But the specs for it are listed in the specs stickey.

I just pre-ordered the G4 for use in europe. Would it be better (if possible) to have streetdeck lite installed? I don't need the US maps. How much space on the hard disk would it save?

I would imagine you could probably just wipe the map data if you're just looking to save space. If you're also looking the save the $80, not sure. You'll have to talk to the SD folks about that.
