You probably have to set your speaker output. Run the realtek audio application and it should allow you to change the speaker type.
Well I'm in the process of installing my G4 along side my new amp and subs. However, I ran into a slight problem along the way. It appears that I am getting no signal through my woofer RCA on the G4. I have tested the amp and sub by plugging them into a different audio source, so I know they are working fine.
Suggestions?

There is no realtek audio application.
I went to the sound control panel and checked the subwoofer slider, its all the way up and not muted.
Speaker config is set to 4 speakers. I also tried surround and 5.1 surround. None of them worked.
Should I download and install updated drivers from Realtek?
Any luck with the sub line out?
Nope. Still waiting for another response on what to do.
Are you using or going to use an external soundcard? Maybe that could solve the problem. Still though, the line out from the infill should have to work.
No, I'm not using an external sound card, nor do I desire to. The sub out line should work.
Hope you don't mind me asking but you are the second person with the infill that's not using a soundcard. Just wondering why? Isn't it better to use one when hooking up external amps?
thanks
It would be better to use one if I where hooking up my components. But I'm using the internal amp for my components. Since there is already a sub out line for the sub amp, i see no need to add a sound card.
OK, thanks.
Now we need an answer to this subwoofer line-out problem.
