Can't post a bug report

Hmm... you guys tell us to report issues in the bug reporting section, but whenever I submit a report I just get a Database Error or an error similar to "No thread indicated".

So I just wasted half an hour trying to report 4 bugs...

I'm sorry that you have had problems, but there is no need to get angry about it.

If you run into issues, as with any software, you should report it. However you need to report it with information that will help us solve the problem.

1) are you still having the problem

2) if you are, please tell us exactly what the error is that you are getting. (copy and paste or screen shot)

Hmm... now instead of getting either of the errors I mentioned in my first post (which occurred after I wrote up the bug report and clicked on Submit), I now get the following error as soon as I click on New Thread in the bug reporting forum:

"johnk, you do not have permission to access this page"

The bug I am currently trying to report is:

"First screen press/gesture is ignored by StreetDeck"

1.) Launch StreetDeck (can be a new launch, I think, though I am usually resuming from Standby). It does not matter if you even wait several minutes before going to the next step.
2.) Press a button on the screen (such as the Music button on the main menu), or do a screen gesture (such as a line-to-the-right for "next song").

Expected: Screen input is accepted.

Actual: All that happens is that the button where you pressed or began the screen gesture takes focus (becomes highlighted). (And you don't see the screen gesture line painted on the screen.)

I'm wondering if maybe the SD app window doesn't really have focus at first, so your first screen press is just giving it focus?

It's broken again; when I try to post a new bug report, I get:

"No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Can you tell me at what point you're getting that message?

As soon as you click to create a new thread? Or once you click to submit it?

I'm not able to recreate this issue so I cannot test it.

It happens after I click on Submit. I just tried again and got the same error message.

I am attaching a text file to the bug report, though the attachment worked fine when I posted it in the private forum this morning, so that's probably not the issue.
