It does not disable the RCA outputs. You can run anything you want on the rear screen while the vehicle is in motion.
The rear screen can be set to clone or secondary in windows.
From another vaguely related thread Handbrake wire?
I've gathered that SD disables watching video on the screen when the car is in motion, can anyone confirm if it is also disabled to RCA video output?
If so, is there a way to adjust this for a rearseat mounted screen? I assume that if it is in fact SD that monitors and disables watching a DVD while driving (for good reason) that outside of SD you could still play a video file or DVD? Which leads me to a related question, is the second screen setup as a second monitor or a clone of the front in-dash screen?
Plan on buying one this week, but need to get a few questions answered for the Mrs. (who wants out kids to be "entertained" on longer drives). Thanks.

THANKS, that settles it then! I was hoping for that answer regarding the RCA video output. What, if any, where the other features disbaled when the GPS detects the car is in motion?
