Not shutting down properly

Hi,

Sometimes, when I turn off the engine, the G4 shows me in red "System Off" and it stays there for a couple of minutes.

It looks as it doesn't want to turn off properly.

The complete unit does turn off after a while, but Windows won't start in Hibernate mode or Standby mode (tried them both).

It doesn't do this all the time though, 7 out of 10 times it shuts down without a problem.

Any ideas?

Is this a new install or did this problem just start happening to you after working fine for a while?

I had these intermittent problems too but like once in a bluemoon so too infrequent for a chance to investigate. My hunch will tell you to look at your usb devices. May be issues with them not able to suspend or hibernate.
