I.... want..... one......... NOW!
I had to use a AVIC double DIN kit along with cut out the back support plastic, but I got it to fit! On the bottom right side I used some electrical tape to cover up the white text and orange Infill branding because I thought both were ugly. I also tried to swap out the orange LEDs with red LEDs to better match the interior of my car at night. Problem is the buttons are part of the LEDs and I didn't see an easy way of swapping them out, so I had to give up for now.
Here's how it looks:

Eh, yea... Except I don't have it anymore. It's been gone for 2 years. After the accident I sold the Truckputer. I was waiting for an AIO solution like this before I got back into things.
Now I have an 07 Scion tC (with double din goodness, and a flip down cover). Time to update the ol' profile I guess.
P.S. If you need any testers, I've been doing carputers for ages.Keep me in mind. I'll be buying one anyways when they go up for sale.
Zip-Lock, I have a 2001 Jetta and it looks like i have the same setup you do. Can you tell me exactly what and from where you had to order to finish the install (din kit, ant. adapter, harness, etc)? Also, how difficult on a scale of 1-10 was the install.
Thanks for your input,
Clay
You should be able to order the cage from the store.
I don't find it listed, but I know it's there. Perhaps contact the store and ask them if you can purchase.
