    anyone tried one of these

    Anyone used one of these yet as a carputer?

    Seems like roadrunner could be optimised to run decently on it. Should just about handle movies in 640x480 as well.

    i didn't think that rr would run on winCE, i thought there were some thread specifically stating that..

    though this part of the features page makes me laugh:
    "With the help of the detailed manual, users are supposed to become proficient in the development process of embedded Linux and WinCE operating system, they are supposed to get the basic idea about the WinCE and Linux development in two weeks, so long as they have obtained the basic and necessary knowledge about the C language."

    Looking at the Spec of the unit, and considering we won't need the UI, a cut down version of WinXP could be booted up fine.

    It might not be the best machine, but I could see a full set-up with one of these for about €200.

    Sygic drive would run without any issue.

    Will a cut down version of WinXP run on ARM9? I thought it was only x86.

    No, your right, it was never ported.

    Would roadrunner run under win 98? I know that brings its own problems, but would it run?
