Rooftop GPS/Cellular/PCS/WiFi antenna

I have been looking at this lil' fella.

Would love to consolidate my wifi, gps, and xm antennas. Right now GPS is on the trunk deck, XM is inside on the rear shelf, and wifi is in the trunk.

What GPS receivers have an antenna connection compatible? I just have a USB receiver with no plugs, and most I see are the same.

It doesn't mention satellite radio support... Would it be possible?

You'd still have your XM puck on the roof. This unit has GPS, WiFi and Cellphone antenna.

Your best bet would be to get an OEM GPS unit. They're available.
You might be able to connect that antenna to a 'puck' style receiver with some deft soldering, but I don't think it would be worth it at all.

And I found an adapter cable that links it directly to the FME connector that the Hirschmann antenna provides.
The receiver by itself does a pretty poor job picking up satellites but when in the car trunk and connected to the external it does pick up on average 7 to 9 sats.

I'm pretty happy with the setup, it is the only antenna I have on my car. XM is not available here in Europe and the Radio antenna is incorporated in the rear windshield of my BMW.

Clean and efficient.

i wanna get one. it would def look cool, but still a little pricy, even with the discount. coz i live in Australia, it increases the price, so its closer to $100 for me for an antenna. but if someone has a second hand one there getting rid of :P

I am using mine with the Spark Fun Electronics ET301 reciever and an adapter. I love it.

The OEM integration fits my needs precisely and looks 10x better than just having a USB puck on the dash or hidden where it won't get as good of a signal as this set-up.

Guys I'm in the planning stage. I wanted to know if this antenna would work with the BU 353 GPS receiver? (I haven't bought this receiver yet but I'm planning to) I mean is there any way I can connect that receiver to this antenna?

The BU-353 is an antenna and a reciever in one. The MP3Car.com is just an antenna, you need a reciever to go with it (many times an OEM style reciever is used here). The other issue is that the BU-353 doesn't even have a port to connect an additional antenna to...so it's not even possible. Unless of course you take it apart and see if there's a port inside..but then I'd have to ask why you would do that?

So I guess I should be fine with just the BU-353 itself. right? (I don't need the WiFi or Cellphone reception of this antenna anyways. )

Is it possible to use this antenna for FM radio reception? if not, do you know a work-around in order to put this antenna in the OEM FM radio antenna place and still get FM radio reception by other means?
