Liliput bolt in kite

I bought this kit
It does not fit my 2006 WRX benzel. It is 3/8" too tall. It also doesnt have the molex power connector. It has 2 exposed wires. Was I sent the wrong kit? In the desc, it says it fits 2002-2006 Impreza.

No, there's no molex power connector. I don't know where you got the idea that it would come with that type of power connector. The bare wires are so you could connect to various power sources depending on the installation.

I can't tell you why it doesn't fit, though.

This kits does not require modifications to dashboard and can simply be bolted into place. Requires a regulated 12+ input to power monitor (Molex connector preinstalled). To install, simply bolt it into place with included parts, connect power and VGA and USB cables and you are ready to go. Please note that this is a touchscreen monitor in an aluminum housing and it does not do any additional processing. This housing is 100% bolt in compatible with the following models:
