Buying from outside usa

I'm just asking, I want buy mp3car store a couple of things but I will like to know some experience from people that alredy has done it. Anyone?

Mate,

I've purchased a few things from the MP3car.com store on a couple of occasions and it was fine. I did receive some incorrect information from one of the staff in my initial enquiries about a part that I purchased that didn't fit when it arrived, however Pat at the store helped me out and they were only to happy to sort it out and send me out a heavily reduced replacement with free postage.

(I could use the first part for something else later on)

18 months ago I tried to buy an entire carputer hardware inventory with them, they thought I was trying to fraud them for some reason, they wanted me to fax them copies of photo IDs and phone bills etc. I refused and they refused, so I went elsewhere and have never tried to buy from them again. Thats my experience. Typically you will find the product or equivalent locally if you would just look.

@ Biggy, it might have been the amount of money your order was going to cost. They were just trying to cover their *** and yours.

@ Obtuso. I have had stuff sent from the US to Australia and had no problems what so ever. The Order arrived promptly and it was packaged well. (even if it did have 100 stamps on it

)
As Biggy said, you may want to look local too.

BiGGy - you would not believe the amount of fraud that the store gets hit with. The process is just to protect the store and protect the customer. I'd much rather take the time to prove who I am and know that I'm not going to be a victom of fraud than not.

Its the fact that you didn't recognize me as a loyal forum member for 2 years or the complete contact information I gave you to ask me verbally or the explanation of my current situation. It felt like you just tossed me aside and didnt give a ****. Is it really worth losing a life long paying member over something that your insured for anyway?
