Like I said, I don't think they will deliberately get ones with dead pixels.

They've had them before though.

I think they're ones that they get shipped with already dead pixels, and rather than return them to the manufacturer, I think they sell them anyway.

The dead pixels were unusual - so no, i don't think this will happen ever again.

Just to be clear - it is not like mp3Car is reselling these from a manufacturer - there is a lot of heavy lifting involved and money upfront to build a batch and then sell them on the store. So there is not manufacturer to turn back to and ask for a new one - for this reason the transflective is covered by a separate warranty than all of our other items.

What screen is this? Is this a EBY701 upgraded screen? I will say that the EBY701 sometimes has major dead pixels on certain batches. I ordered 3 screens from Ebay and they all had a single dead pixel towards the left mid corner of the screen. When testing the screen, you don't see the pixel unless some type of video is playing. Alot of time companies will simply plug the screen in, turn it on and look for a dead pixel on the blue screen. Unfortunately the pixel will not show up that way. So now when I order screens I leave detailed instructions for the seller to connect the screen to a video source and eye that part of the screen. I received 3 screens with the same dead pixel in the same location, so now I have the seller do what I listed above. Haven't had issues since. I really think MP3Car should adopt this method. The pixel especially shows up on the color black, like when I movie goes to another scene and there is a few seconds of black screen.

How could I find LCD panel model from each MP3car.com transfletive screen?
