The mp3Car BoomzBox is a USB controlled HD capable AM/FM tuner. The BoomzBox HD is a fully RoHS compliant HD radio tuner built from the ground-up for car PC use. The tuner box is smaller than similar devices on the market. It’s built with a solid aluminum casing to withstand automotive applications. The tuner box has 3 connections; an antenna input port, a pass-through antenna output port, and the 8-pin interface connector.

will this pick up EU frequencies?
There is an SDK. There are no plans to release any low level API details. Anyone developing on a windows OS can already fully use the tuner since all you need is the new dll (which is in Centrafuse and rr).Originally Posted by Tidder

Not sure about EU frequencies. It should pick up any FM frequency, but we won't know for sure until someone tries it.

I'll rephrase that, can it tune to even frequencies on FM ie 96.0, 96.2, 96.4 etc. In the US the FCC limit the radio channels to odd frequencies eg 96.1, 96.3, 96.5 etc.
also does it have 9khz switching on AM?
The epitome of Function over form and is probably the best Car PC in Europe.
