You're comming across a little bit insulting my friend. You should be careful making assumptions about people "screwing up" when you don't seem to have a clue yourself.
Who cares if they "screwed up"? The store was still willing to help them out, seems to be worth a little extra cash to me.
And that's really what we're talking about here. Customer service.
I already said the products are a little more expensive in the store than other places. In some cases a fair bit. Where the value comes in is the ability to get items that would not otherwise be available and people that stand behind thier products.
Go ahead and order your parts directly from hong kong, china, etc. See what you get when there's a couple dead pixels, an f'd up screen after a couple weeks, or something gone wrong in the depths of your "bargain" power supply.
bet it won't seem like such a bargain then, "Mr Ho" is usually pretty un-sympathetic..........and even then, the shipping is murder.
