Thanks gyro! I'm using winsyntax, which is an obscure multilang editor which I use for html/php coding too...
Only thing I translate are the pieces of text in between tags, so if you know html, that's the same ;)
I hope to be able to work on it a bit more later today...
BTW, I installed neocar for a test and like it alot!!! Very nice interface for the configuration!
thanks for your appreciation ;)
For me it will be working at night mostly... I know a little about html, so I will manage. I'll give that proggy you work with a try, if not I'll use notepad.
First day working on it will be thursday though.
Found another little faulty thingy in
You switched the texts for <volume_up> and <volume_down> in the English file.
Progress is being made for the Dutch translation. ;)
Here is the part that I already have translated. Remember that I begun from bottom to top! Please check, and if you find things to be not right, let me know so I don't make the same mistakes in the further translation. (I am a hardware man, not asoftware man, remember ...)
If you don't mind I will translate the whole part of the <NSW> section.
Here is the whole NSW section of the xml file.
You can forget about the first posted file, it is included in this one.
Thanks a lot for your work ;)
I replaced the part that I translated into the original NSL_EN.xml file. When I try to launch the skineditor or the manager I receive this fault :
Erreur d'exécution '9': Indice dehors de la page.
Has this something to do with my translation? I only changed the <NSW> section ...
In the xml file there are words between square brackets, what do they stand for? Do I have to translate them too?
I sometimes exchanged [previous_track] with [next_track] because they were switched (presuming that the French tags are the correct ones). Could this be the issue here? I don't think so because I didn't change anything in the <NM> or <NMC> section. I could be wrong here though.
If I put the original NSL_EN.xml in place, everything works allright.
I'll wait for your answer before I start translating again.
Keep up the good job.
How far did you get already?
sorry I left you hangin' there... I just am VERY busy at the moment (just bought 2 houses at the same time, pffff)....
I quickly checked your translation, and it looks very good. That is definately the way to go!
EDIT: If I understand it corectly, you shouldn't translate or change the stuff between brackets, as they seem codes to be replaced by variables in the program...
Haven't had time to test the file yet...
If you check in the English file, you will notice that the translation sometimes is not correct (imho) e.g. : (there are a few other examples)
<piste_suivante>[previous_track]Go to previous track.</piste_suivante>
<piste_precedente>[next_track]Go to next track.</piste_precedente>
But it could be offcourse when you try to replace the words between the that things work out wrong or don't work at all ...
I think this probably has to be corrected by Netsuo.
The next few days I will be busy for work, but I'll try to keep up with the forum.
