Why not ?

Well, for one, the filesystem is the most efficient database... :) but really, there are pros and cons... i'm not sure i prefer a database... maybe it would be possible to keep it this way, but adding an index for searching/sorting... dunno if it would work out or not...

Is the next version compatible with MP3 id3v2? If not could you pleeease add this?

i've removed the id3v2 support as it's a **** to manage... lots of mp3's are bad tagged so NMC was buggy.

So i removed.

A simple calculator would be very cool!

why not just embed windows calc? I really dont want netsuo to be focusing on developing a calculator! ehhehe

It requires more to install and gives headaches.

I've never been able to use any of the database systems because of it.

but if done right it makes the system faster and easier to use/change and makes it easy to search and stuff
