you must have a clean install to run this alpha. So, no config.xml.

Just delete the XML and restart NM. If it's not working say me what error you get.

As from this night, i will start to list all bugs, correct some of them and release mini-updates.

Context: XP pro on M10000, fresh install of NMC.

1) Error 13: I always get it, even after the initial configuration in NM. NMC will always refuse to start until I manually launch NM. (EDIT: ok, known bug. Sorry)

2) NM: in "Application list", the fields <path>, <finding text> and <description> all contain "Text1", until an existing application is selected.

3) NMC: once I use the keypad, I cannot have the osk anymore. I need to edit config.xml and reset <keyboard>,<dernier_mode> to "normal", as opposed to "full".

4) NMC: I create an application: path is "c:\windows\explorer.exe c:\" and finding text is "Local Disk". I launch it from NM. Not only it does not show but when I click on Exit on your "taskbar", the PC reboots. If I run it not embedded, I still don't see it, but at least it does not reboot

5) I have not found how to run an application with parameters, like "C:\program files\gammacontrol.exe /day", even with double-quotes.

6) (EDIT). Many problems in Playlist mode, is it normal (ie. not finished yet ?): either "indice en dehors de la plage" or "argument ou appel de proc incorrect", or funny grey patterns when selecting a file in the list.

PS: if we tell you about those bugs, it's because we love the 0.7 ! Don't lose faith

Error when double clicking on VIDEO file names. Works fine if you click once then press play.

As i was thinking, you got lots of bugs.

But what are you thinking of the rest ?

I love it. Although there are bugs, the audio is playing fairly stable. As I told you via msn, it is playing well on my M10K with the medium settings. Swithing from audio to images or video takes about 1 second. That's not too bad.

Added Notepad as an external application. When I use the OSK clicking with the mouse, everything is ok. If I use the touchscreen in that same session, I can type words too. If I quit this session and start another session with notepad, but start typing the OSK with the touchscreen, Notepad looses focus (the words File, help etc of Notepad become grey) and nothing gets typed in Notepad. If I regain focus by tipping my finger in the Notepad area and retry typing the OSK with the touchscreen, focus gets lost again. If I regain focus and type the OSD with the mouse, everything works like it should again. Afterwards typing with the touchscreen works again. Hope you can follow this difficult explanation.

If you lay an MP3, then go back to the main menu, mine crashes. Tested it several times, several MP3's.

YEs, it was a VBR Mp3, thats a known bug I take it.

I get crashes sometimes when clicking on the shutdown button. Also once the program got really messed up, the songs were about 32 min long, and then it crashed. Oh yeh, the config app crashes after I added iGuidance, saved it, and wanted to look at it again.

When I click M3U playlist, NMC crashes. (If this is a known bug, I apologize )
