well I can say I'd be disappointed if it does not come with VIS and would probably move to something else - but if you'r keeping it I will be using NMC all the way - this is a great looking app, man

Funny thing, I just logged in to post a request conserning vis when I found this thread. I could care less if you keep it or lose it just as long as I can turn it off. I've been using it off and on since it's release (more off lately, buggy) and I've found it to be distracting. Besides it takes up space that something else could use. Maybe it's a "40's thing" (I'm 45).
i sometimes stay in my car for a while either in my garage or at the carpark at work just taking some time. and ofcourse listening to the music and this is where the viz comes in handy. you don't have to drive with the viz on just bec. its there. as netsuo have said, it's here to stay, turn it on or off if you may.

to me i'd just leave the wmp viz, if it means it will be more stable.... i really dont think they are that bad... whatever, to me all viz is kinda artificial, just "cool" and the wmp ones are just as cool imho...
As far as i know there are visulations out there that have the source code and don't need winamp from what iv gathered
http://classic.winamp.com/nsdn/vault/vis.php
The Whitecap vis has some cool vis and it works as a standalone app and the source is available
So u could look for a few of these and compile them into NMC or as a add-in there free for use so they would be perfect for u as non media player is needed to use them
Hope this helps for a few screenies of the vis this thing does check

wo-ho.. my kind of viz (like the one in mmc), also looks like it takes less memory plus a true viz that respond to frequency.Originally Posted by NiN^_^NiN

it is and it can be compiled as a standalone app for win32 it has a few viz in 1 so i think even if nmc only had this viz it be well worth itwith these and the other VIZ nmc would be great and all standalone
Altho the viz is made in C so i dont know if netsuo knows C or C++ but if not he could ask the other guys in this forum to compile it for him im sure they would be happy to
They are the perfect solution for nmc i think as the viz has different patterns its not just 1 VIZ and it should be enough for the VIZ fanatics![]()

I will see in next days. Currently i rework on NSW's interface (i think the new will be lot better)
Thanks a lot for you help, it's sooo hard to find a good Vis to embed (as you know, i WANT to NMC be standalone at all)
