Thanks for all the compliments guys! The font is called Digital Bold. Don't ask me where I got it, I have forgottten. Let me know if you need it.

WRT small buttons, yes... it is difficult sometimes to design, because the display can only hold so much buttons for the front end to be actually useable in driving situation. Problem is, some front ends have so much functions and information to include, and skinners can do nothing but to make everything smaller. Frankly, I still feel that MC has the right balance between functionality and useability. (No offense Netsuo!)

Which is why I'd like to request Netsuo to make Fast forward and Next as the same button and Rewind and Previous as another same button. ;)

Good idea joining next/ff rew/fr.... Just one small concern, I'm not sure if this is NMC related (i think not) but on my xenarc, if i hold down a button pressed (like vol+ or ff), it will only repeat that button for 2-3seconds... is it something in my driver? I didnt find any settings... it looks like repeat should be working....

i has allready thinked of merging this buttons.

So.. i will make it for next alpha: Feb, make your skin considering this ;)

For the Xenarc, I had the same issue (even with frodo, when NMC didn't exist yet :))

I think I just set 'mouse mode' to 'Normal' in settings... doesn't seem very logical but it does work in my car now...

Netsuo, could you possibly have the option not to have a 'hover' image for touchscreen use?

Reason: when activating shuffle (for example), it should appear pressed down, but when the cursor stays over the button (which it does, as long as you don't click something else), only the hover image is displayed. So when you don't want to use hover effects, you have to select the pressed image OR the non-pressed image which means the state of the button is never correct when the cursor is over it.

An alternative solution would be: make the cursor go to a corner of the screen automatically after a click event...

I hope I'm clear about this one :)

When in the filelist is there a way to change the text color when an item is "playing" and "selected"

Currently playing is white, and selected changes the text to blue. I can't find anywhere to change that.

Can you also fix it so it displays the id3 tag of a song in the file list when selected? "description" is always blank unless you click a jpg which shows the image size/dimensions :)

Do you mean like the one I did in the first post? Yes, of course you can change it. But I also forgot to report that bug in the NSW. It seems that whatever colour you pick, it reverts back to cyan. I edit the .xml manually to change the color.

Got this idea from a Winamp skin. This one has visualization!! It has buttons to other application!! The playlist is larger!! :D :D But the downside is, the buttons are smaller. :o I don't know how it will be in driving situation :)

So which one do you prefer? ;)
