Hmmm... I tend to stay quiet on the skinning front, because I'm artistically dead, so I take what is kindly given to me. However, you asked...

I like the single central screen approach of the first skin, and the circular button approach of the second. I'm visualising the round button clusters on each end, with a screen like the first skin in the middle.

Can the skin be designed so that the clock doesn't show seconds? I don't understand why most people skin in this way. Is it to confirm 60 times a minute that windows hasn't crashed yet? Same with the 44khz thing - aren't they all?

Love the fonts used in the top third of the skin - not so much the one used for the playlist. Maybe the font that the date/time are in, if it's readable at that size?

About the color bug in NSW:

I noticed when changing fields, you need to click another field to have the change "registered" before clicking another control, or saving the skin.

Also, when selecting a color from the colorbox, the hex color field gets filled in, with any zeros in the hex number replaced by nothing. So #60FF08 becomes #6FF8, which is definately another color

Merging both elements together eh? I was kinda bored with my brushed metal buttons anyway (and the brushed metal theme ) I'll see whether it looks better or not and I'll decide.

Good point. I was thinking about the same thing. But you can actually edit this in the NSW. NSW makes it very simple to exclude things that you don't like.

You can change that too in NSW, no worries. But this font serves me better on the road for its readability. The fonts in the first third part are just for design purpose.
