I've just tested a little thing today:
To wait for the future "options" module (embedded in NMC) that i will code, you can now (as it's resizable) include neocar manager as an external application directly in NMC.
This is working good with what i've tested.
Not all options will be dynamic but i'm working on a temporary solution for very next release. (due for next days)
I also saw that external apps are not moveable in NMC, this will be fixed.
this sounds awesome :-) cant wait. .. I will do a skin for D3 just to suit.

would it be possible in the future to have blank pages in nmc.
What i mean is how you have GPS embedded coul you make 3 or 4 blank pages so we can embed our own programs like someone might like to have a phone program that can be embedded.
It would be nice to have an option to use the lockout device thats available so we can have dvd and maybe the custom apps that could be embedded to make sure they dont run unless the handbrake is on.
Just curious :) as i have a few custom apps that i would like embedded :)

For the "blank pages" i have allready made a scripting reference (neocarscript) that will allow you to code scripts for NMC, so before i'll release this i will not make a function like you want.. but this will come ;)

Thats great news cause i have special programs im thinking of implamenting like a weather app which uses probes for outside and inside of the car on how hot it is and also it downloads an up to date satelite map of aus to see how bad the cloud is etc.
and a few specific things for me like a phone apps game apps etc :)
Netsuo, just so I dont forget to bug you, would it be possible to implement when you Quit an external app, it returns to the module that called it, instead of Apps module?
Like GPS can be called from music module, quitting GPS should go back to music module. Is this very difficult?

Will this work for other apps or only GPS?
I want to put OBD in the place of "External Apps" in the light skin, because i only use GPS and OBDII as external apps at the moment...
