New skin in progress [july 7 update]

looking nice m8.. I have now on that exe I sent you merged the current street (FDROAD) and directions (FDMANFULL)... so when your not routing it shows your current position road name. It just said "FreeDrive" before which was a waste. This will allow you to remove one of the info lines.. I would prob also move the sat / cams to the very top left of your skin as you have some space there.. you could even drop the number of sats.. although people my cry about this.. lol and use the new FDSATIND= this outputs SETIND;CUSTOMFDSATIND;ON; or SETIND;CUSTOMFDSATIND;OFF; depending if its getting more then 3 sats.

As for your question in pm.. the menuoff sdk command.. yes this disables all comsend commands and keypresses on screen, but the sdk.ini will still work sending out info. I can allow the requests commands through in both cases if needed and anything else you want.. just let me know.

Thanks for your quick feedback.

For the next part of FD integration, i need few things:

- a SDK "event" generated when user clicks on the map with "menuoff"
- a "autosizing" adress input menu (as you can see in the video, menu is too big to fit)
- ability to automatically set destination trough SDK with LAT/LON or adress (to let NMC's users save and load favorites from NMC's favorites.
- a SDK info when before each direction change alert (like 1 or 2 seconds before, i saw a command in D3 sdk)

For now its all that i remind.

Anyway, lots of thanks for your work. I think it will make a really cool integration

I can add a sdk event no probs.. what would you like to to be.. any special format ?

FD should auto resize its address box, are you sure you are showing the full box ? looks like the bottom is chopped off. Everything auto sizes, skin, address, history, and osk to fit the size of the FD screen.. I will check it out but on trials on embedding it into RR it does resize fine.

I can add the ability to route in long / lat, but not the ability to set a destination through the sdk, as I'm now using the D3 address dialog which I have no control over.

I have already added a FDMAN= .. this outputs "sound" when a direction alert it about to start, just forgot to include it in the readme.. sorry just stick FDMAN=NCM or whatever your apps called.

hope this helps alittle.. I'm sure we can work something out with the destination thing.

Very nice to see both of your work coming together

It would be best as CDR said putting the cams and sats up the top cause we need as much of the D3 window as we can get.

Also another small thing the text at the top should be white not black so you can see it

It's looking fantastic can't wait to see it when it's released

The FD version is not ready at all, sorry.

@NiN_NiN: this is just the "quickview" mode, as you can see, there's a "fullmode" button that will be used to show a big MAP and all needed infos. The quickview mode is just here to choose destination.

Will show progress after this weekend, i have LOTS of infos to give you about next part of NMC project. I got new ideas to make NMC better and beter and.. better

I tried the tech and tech clear but when the first screen pops up on loading I get a;

Run-Time Error '380':
Invalid Property value

Any ideas? The default and pioneer skins work!

I am after teh skin on page one of this postinng. IS it available for download somewhere?
