MPEG2 (.m2v) Support?

Just wondering what the status of MPEG2 support is. I saw a post about it a while back but it wasn't ever answered. They play fine in WMP and Media Player Classic but not from within NMC. Since there's no way to add file associations from within the Manager, I'm not too sure how to get them working from within NMC. Any suggestions?

i believe you can just rename the .m2v to .mpg and it should play

NMC is actually using it's own builtin player for video and audio

Netsuo didn't want NMC to be dependant on any software so it can be installed and used stright away.

This might be fixed in the new release as there might be dvd but who knows.
