does your art reflection always appear that far down? it isn't supposed to...

god i have to say if that is what NBB looks like on 800x480 I have alot of work to do...

I'll look into the waking from sleep issues, but I have no idea what to do about the control box drawing its background too small... you seem to be the only person affected...

one question. does changing the NBB control color set the control bar right. I can tell that since the buttons that it contains are visible it is not that the size of the bar is being changed just that its background is being drawn incorrectly. adjusting the control color then adjusting back again should "fix" it until I can figure out a work around

Actually, no, that piece of album art has a black border, which causes the reflection to look like it's dropped, when it's really just reflecting the black border. That was a bad choice, I guess. The reflections are properly placed.

I haven't had a chance to try changing the color. I'll try it later today. You are correct that the control bar does not change, just the background. I've never seen the control bar change size.

anyway, your screenshot just gave me a bit of an epiphany. You are using the default color scheme, which means when you launch the music module it doesn't have to apply a new color which means the control bar doesn't always get redrawn, which might explain why you are the only one seeing this problem.

I'm going to override the cocoa method for resizing the control view and make sure that the background gets scaled with the control. that should resolve this issue.

As for the audio when waking from sleep is concerned; I don't know what caused that problem but by simply pausing the music when putting the computer to sleep seems to have fixed it. I also added a pref in the music module to resume playing when the computer wakes up, however currently this means that if you pause a song sleep the mac then wake the mac the song will resume without you pushing play. Also this will only be effective if the music module is the "Active" module, meaning that it was the last module that you were in before going to the home screen and sleeping the mac. Otherwise you will have to manually resume the music.

Edit: yeah after resetting my interface color to default I am finally able to duplicate that scaling bug. I should be able to fix it now that I know what is going on

About 50% of the time NBB crashes sometime between the button press for the Mac to go to sleep and when my screen displays the awake Mac desktop.

On the XM front, NBB doesn't seem to be able to see my XM PCR.

I'm forwarding (via email) both the crash log and the Console messages from today during XM connection attempts (should also cover the crash period).

hammer, I am going home tonight to work on the radio. I will get it working for you again; I had been trying to get it working with the XM direct also and I probably broke something in my efforts and was unable to test since I didn't have my radio with me.

about the sleep issue. how do you sleep your mini? do you mean the NBB sleep button or the mini button, or some other button? I recently did some work on the sleep/wake handling that may prevent the crash. could you send me the console log from the next time it crashes on sleep/wake?

I use the Mini's power button (pressed by the P1900 power supply at engine shutdown). The last log I sent should have covered the time of the crash, but I filtered the console using the word 'Neon', will the crash part have anything in particular I could look for?

the last log you sent me was regarding the radio crashing the system. does the system not crash if you don't use the radio perhaps?

If the sleep/wake issue is related to the radio then i won't dig into it since i hoping that the work i'm about to do on it will inherently fix it.

New crash logs sent for the build out last Friday. I got another sleep crash (while in the XM module) using the new test build you sent (but the radio was detected and the stations loaded during regular use!). Will forward later today.

I've got three of podcasts that update a couple times a day (I keep iTunes open in the background to update them automatically). I keep the latest versions in a smart playlist called News.

When the latest version of each podcast is in iTunes NBB will play through the list fine. If one of them gets updated while NBB is open then it won't play when it comes around in the rotation and instead of showing the actual time info, the timeline will show a really large number.

I assume that NBB gets a list of the songs (and podcasts, etc.) in my library when I launch the Music Module. Would it be possible to have it be able to handle a dynamic library?
