Bom?
So I have a 2002 cavalier, I am looking to go without a head unit, so I want the PC to be better than the head unit. Will I be satisfied with this? I am trying to keep the costs low but still be able to upgrade to better parts in the future. Will that 3D thingy be able to replace having a touchscreen? I will probably get a little keyboard thingy too. Here's what I came up with:

Bill of Materials
You might have issues with the diaplay later- it does not have a VGA input, so text will be harder to read.
There are a couple of builds where people do not use a touch layer, but I have to say that it defitaly makes life easier to have one.
As some members like to say- why cheap out on the one piece that you are going to be constantly interacting with? I really think that the screen makes or breaks the rest of the install.
Otherwise, the rest of the setup looks good
try looking though the for-sale area here. You might come up with some good deals on some of the other things your looking for
