    Help with Pioneer AVH-P7950DVD for carputer use

    Hello

    I have just won a Pioneer AVH-P7950DVD head unit. I was wondering whether it is possible to use it as a monitor screen for a carputer. I am new to the idea of carputer but saw this and it looks like it has everything I want

    Is it possible to run the RCA from my headdeck and use the S-video -> RCA output of the carputer.

    Does anyone know whether I would be able to have the carputer/pc screen while listening to music with this particular head unit? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Otherwise I was thinking of selling the head unit and buying something like this:

    I thought it might be easier if I did that. Please let me know what you think.

    anything that accepts s-video, or composite in is not going to have very good resolution-- you will be better off wit a vga screen.
