Now I'll just have to link up with my buddy and figure out how to put a module into my front end. This piece of software is pushing me away from centrafuse, and I'm now thinking about roadrunner. I'm going to need to be able to interface this software with my front end, and I'm not too sure about how that is going to work with centrafuse.

So.... Apparently the cobb accesstuner race software interfaces with the COBB AP, which I already have... so I might not need the software or the cable...

wi77iam, were should I be looking to find more about this?
I'm running a N/A (non-turbo) 2003 (2002 body shape) B4. Gets better gas mileage in a country that has 60 kpm speed limits!!!

Anyone have an opinion on the quality of zotac motherboards? Saw a 0+1 raid one that interests me, and I'm debating whether I want to get a prebuild nettop since I really dont need a permanent optical drive in the car. Thanks.

i run a zotac 9300, and have had very little problems with it(actually, zero problems related to the board--everything to do with me, and my tinkering nature...). i have not seen of too many problems at all with the zotac line--overall, they seem to be very reliable.

intel, and jetway seem to be the most problematic brands..

So... time for the newb to troll the forums. Most likely going to have to fab the console insert because I think I ordered the wrong touchscreen Got the 8" instead of the wide 8". Power pins from the connector to the MB do not match... and neither does my old ddr2. *sigh* looks like I have some work ahead before I can even begin to delve into programming.

Just a brief update if anyone even follows this thread anymore. The STi blew up piston four, and the engine rebuild has pushed back the car pc project. Last work on the car pc, I used vlite to reduce the install size of windows 7 and began working on a front end. RR seems to be a bit of a PITA to configure, and I may just say screw it and buy Centrafuze. Still need to buy the right in dash screen, and I'll most likely just buy the ready to go 7" for imprezas. Engine will be going back in this weekend and once break in and tuning is complete, efforts will shift to focus on the pc.
