    Now another question:

The motherboard i am using in the CarPC allows dual monitor support (1 - VGA, 1 - HDMI).

    My plan:
    1. ) Get a VGA to RCA module to convert the signal to RCA and then using RCA spliters, run that signal to the 4 headrest. Would i see any signal loss by splitting this off to the 4 head rest.

2.) I would then run the the HDMI to the Lilliput Screen (I got the HDMI adapter).

3.) I would then use software (openMobile) to control the two screens!

Whats your thougths on openMobile? I'm new to the whole CarPC hobby, but have been a computer tech most my life. I have NO experiance with FrontEnds, so begun my research.
I had origianlly thought of going with either (RR or CF). But the more i read, the more I like openMobile? Whats your opinion on this for use with multi-zones?
Well it looks like your all good to go. Use the HDMI for mainscreen..... Only thing I will say, is that you may have to do some research on figuring out how to make the HDMI port your default display. On most boards HDMI is the secondary output according to Windows.

Another thing, make sure the VGA to RCA is of good quality. If it looks cheap then it most likely will work cheap.

OHHHH BOY. Problem is that I am literally stuck on CF.... It will do what you want it to do for your setup. Technically what you are doing is called Dual-Zone. Multi-zone is where each individual can do their own thing. CF has plans to unlock the Multi-Zone feature in version 3.2 (something I need for my setup), but for you Dual-Zone will work. As far as Open-Mobile, IMO it isn't 100% polished. I do see possibilities, but as of now, it does not have as many features as CF, nor is it pleasing to the eye. In fact skins seem to be a nightmare. I am going to wait till it looks polished then I may try OM again. Also another thing to consider is that CF you have to pay, and OM is free. Support has seemed to slow down for CF also, it seems like third party is whats keeping it going. Every time Flux works on an update, they literally vanish off the face of the earth until a p!$$ed off user like me makes a huge scene.

Rather then just straight up choose, install them both and see which works for you. I built my install around CF and because it is so simple to use and setup, once I tried RR (hated all the tweaking) and then OM (just to new and missing features), I went back to CF. Also CF when they are around, add features when asked. I remember when CF didn't have dual zone and a few of use asked for it, and they put it in. Now that we are asking for multi zone, they are putting that in too.

Thanks for the reply, I have installed both CF and OM and understand what your saying, i am trying the 30 day trial with cf right now.

I just order the VGA to RCA module today, it was fairly cheap, something like $30 dollars but it was getting really good reviews and evan had videos show the device and how it worked. I guess i'll cross my fingers on this and hope for the best.

even though you already ordered, refer to this thread for the vga-to-rca converters:

    http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/newb...ompatible.html

the one that i inadvertently linked to is actually a model that member ripplinghurst uses, and he gave it high praise-- mainly because it keeps the settings that you input-- many do not.. this is a very critical feature for in-car use, because you will not want to keep that converter powered at all times..

i also agree on OM. it has huge potential, and a lot of features, and i hope to run it once it gets officially released, but as of now, it is still in beta form, so there are bugs, and ugly skins...

Thanks for the link. I actually order the same converter that "blinggizmo" used in his setup. Seems like his worked out pretty good, hopefully get the same results!
