2007 Nissan Xterra: Proposed Build

Right now I am deployed to Afghanistan and have a lot of free time on my hands. I thought why not build a PC for the car. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but never had the time or resources. Here is my proposed build. Would love some feedback as I am completely new to this. Thanks and God bless!

looks like a pretty standard setup..

i have read many times that with centrafuse, atom boards are very slow, and many stepup to at least a i3/pentium/etc. to get a snappy interface.

if you were to do this, the m3 power supply would not work very well..


also, that case will not fit a 3.5" hdd, you would need to use a 2.5" drive.

So, a pentium processor and what power supply? Suggestions...

I see you have questioned OBD2.

4gb is a lot of memory-- in most cases, 2gb is plenty. if you are going to hibernate, the less memory the faster the pc will hibernate..

The board description said that Vista was the latest OS that I could run on it.

according to intel's site, it just says that the board fully supports the vista Aero theme-- so win 7 will be fine..
