Please help my mobo is not detecting my hdd. I put "auto" under bios but still no luck. hdd is running (vibrating) so i guess its not a power issue. I'm using sata cable.

There are no jumper settings on a SATA drive.
And AUTO is the setting for PATA drives, which won't detect your SATA drive.
Is there an option in the BOOT ORDER section of the CMOS setup that allows you to choose SATA as the first boot device?
Here's a question...
does the manual say anything about setting up a SATA hard drive?
And how could you load a driver without an OS installed? The whole point of the diver is to allow the OS to talk to the hardware...
the manual doesnt say anything about sata aside from where the 2 ports are located to the mobo. but on the cd driver its saying something on how to set up sata. thats why Im asking if I can load it without OS.
Ok I think I found something, scroll at the bottom of the page under special note, Its saying I need a modified installation cd. http://www.logicsupply.com/product_i...roducts_id/305
