    Hey guys,my 1st post

HI guys , I would like to know if any of you guys think im on the right track.
Im looking at an infill g4.....xpensive down here...(australia)....$3499.00
Im going to install it in a truck.......yep a truck...I want to be able to run as a mobile office.......send and receive emails.........attend to my website...of coarse listen to music....blah blah. Im no computer guru hence my interest in the g4.Things id like to have in my system>

dvd playback with second screen in sleeper area
    tv reception
    sat nav
    reversing camera
    email capability
    sub woofer and amp
bluetooth so that the phone takes over if there is music playing when the phone rings
    external hard drive
    I think thats about it
I like the idea of it being a complete system supplied and installed by the one shop...but im open to other options.

    G'day Gary,

Welcome to the forum and the hobby. You're right wrt to the G4 - it's expensive in AUD $$$. Still if the unit is right for you, and you can afford it, then why not. I'll encourage you to do plenty of research first before taking the plunge. All the best.

Also, feel free to say G'day in the following thread: How many Australian Mp3Cars are out there?

    Cheers,

You will not be able to run a secondary VGA monitor off of the G4. Only a RCA monitor.

    Just FYI.

It's a great option if you want it simple.

Building your own system can be a bit more difficult for some people.
